After much fiddeling I've decided to upload this as a W.I.P for some external opinions. It will be moved to scraps eventually...
This is a test / demo of a little emoticon inspired guy I'm coding in Flex. There is no frame animation involved, all of his movements are procedural. This makes things more difficult but also more controlable.
The first dropdown menu is the main controler: it says what the body should do, and that includes the feet.
Then there are two menu for the hands. The first is mostly uninteresting, it controls the main action. At first it says "Current Action" which means the hands follow the body. The other menu however contains additional actions for the hands (only two at the moment, sorry).
The last dropdown menu simply controls the eyes.
At the bottom part is a checkbox and two buttons. The left / right buttons should be fairly obvious and the checkbox determines whether or not the little guy should be moving about at all.
I am particularly interested in other actions to add.
