Should have uploaded this days ago but got bogged down with homework and forgot :p

This is a heavily Myst inspired observatory. Those who have played the games may recognise things, like the signs on the door. I have always liked the Spire age and that is where the idea to make the observatory float above the water came from.

About the title...I like seeing buildings and machinery as living entities. This is an observatory which is active at night so it is dormant at day. Astronomy is a science. Thus it is dormant science.

Made in Blender 2.44 with quite a bit of post-pro in Photoshop CS2. Any thoughts on this piece are welcome.
